  • 3 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 12 ounces spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas thawed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes, until lightly golden.
  5. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, stirring continuously until smooth.
  6. Add the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  7. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  8. Combine the cooked chicken, peas, and pasta in a large mixing bowl.
  9. Pour the cream sauce over the pasta mixture and stir until everything is well coated.

  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
