Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional

Method

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and season with black pepper.
  2. In a bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to create a marinade.
  3. Add the chicken to the marinade and let it sit for a few minutes while you heat the pan.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated chicken (reserving extra marinade).
  5. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally to coat the chicken in the glaze.
  6. Pour the reserved marinade over the chicken and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until caramelized.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, serve immediately for maximum stickiness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently to enjoy them warm again.
